The Department of Mathematical Sciences staffs 30 full-time faculty members and approximately 90 part-time faculty members with expertise in theoretical mathematics, mathematics education, developmental mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, data science, and mathematical physics. Our mission is to prepare students for teaching, business, industry, and research. We also provide students in the schools of Technology, Business, Education, and departments within the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences with mathematics and statistics courses needed for success in their fields.
